What personal data Namaskar AI collects, why we collect it, and how we protect it — including Google Sign-In for the Products showcase.

Namaskar AI community learning

Introduction

Namaskar AI (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates namaskarai.in and related subdomains for products and courses. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it.

Most of the site is public and does not require an account. We only ask for personal data when you contact us, join a course waitlist, sign in as a product maker, or use an invite-only CMS account.

Who is responsible

Namaskar AI is the data controller for information collected through this website. For privacy questions or requests, email hello@namaskar.ai.

What data we collect

We collect only what each feature needs. We do not sell personal data and we do not run advertising profiles.

  • Public browsing: standard server logs (IP address, browser user-agent, pages requested, timestamps) for security and reliability.
  • Contact form: name, email address, optional subject, message text, and the language version you used.
  • AI course waitlist: name, email address, 10-digit phone number, optional age, and the course you selected.
  • Products maker sign-in (Google OAuth): name, email address, and profile picture URL supplied by Google; we store a maker profile (display name and optional avatar URL).
  • Products submissions: product name, tagline, description, website URL, optional logo URL, and review status tied to your account.
  • Products community actions: upvotes, downvotes, and comment text linked to your signed-in account.
  • CMS admin accounts (invite-only): email address, hashed password, TOTP two-factor authentication data, role, and audit records of content changes you make.
  • Authentication sessions: session token (HTTP-only cookie), IP address, and user-agent stored with your session.

Google Sign-In

When you choose “Sign in with Google” on the Products showcase, Google authenticates you and sends us basic profile information (name, email, and profile picture) so we can create your maker account. We do not receive your Google password.

Google’s use of data is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy. You can revoke our access from your Google Account permissions at any time.

How we use your data

  • Respond to contact messages and collaboration enquiries.
  • Manage course waitlist seats and send launch updates you opt into.
  • Operate the Products directory: submissions, moderation, votes, and comments.
  • Secure CMS access with MFA, roles, and audit trails.
  • Keep the site secure, prevent abuse, and debug operational issues.
  • Comply with law when required.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use essential HTTP-only session cookies when you sign in (Products makers or CMS admins). These cookies keep you signed in and are required for those features to work.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Embedded Facebook reels may set cookies according to Meta’s policies when you interact with them.

Third-party services

  • Google — OAuth sign-in for Products makers.
  • Cloudflare R2 — file storage for downloads, media, and product logos.
  • GNews — fetches public AI news articles; we do not send your personal data to GNews.
  • Meta / Facebook — embedded video players on public pages.
  • Hosting (Hostinger VPS via Dokploy) — application and database hosting in India.

How long we keep data

We keep data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected: waitlist and contact records until the enquiry is resolved or the waitlist program ends; maker and CMS account data while your account is active; server logs on a rolling basis for security.

You may ask us to delete contact or waitlist data, or to close a maker account, by emailing hello@namaskar.ai.

Your choices and rights

  • Browse most of the site without creating an account.
  • Request access, correction, or deletion of personal data we hold about you.
  • Revoke Google OAuth access from your Google Account settings.
  • Opt out of non-essential communications by replying to any email we send.

Children

The site is intended for a general audience including learners aged 13 and above. The course waitlist requires a minimum age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 without parental consent.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our features or legal obligations change. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows the latest revision.
